Oil remover is a complex mixture of organic and inorganic chemicals based on water, and is a new industrial oil remover developed using the principles of "emulsification" and "saponification". It has a wide range of applications in industrial fields such as metal processing, food, textile, transportation, shipbuilding, construction, electrical appliances, medicine, and chemical engineering. Although the surface substrates for cleaning are not the same, the purpose of cleaning is the same, which is to restore the cleanliness of the substrate surface and maintain its integrity.
Oil removal is a key process in the electroplating, painting, and metal processing of metal parts; Oil remover refers to a chemical agent used on metal surfaces for the purpose of removing oil, grease, and stains. Metal surface oil and grease can be mainly divided into two types: saponification oil and non saponification oil.
1、 Classified by traits
1. Solvent based degreasers usually refer to degreasers that are insoluble in water and cannot be diluted with water. For example, Yuman Industrial replaces trichloroethylene substitute FRB-1.1, hydrocarbon cleaning agents FRB-101, FRB-111, FRB-121, FRB-122, and white oil substitute FRB-1.1F, FRB-662, FRB-663; Traditionally used solvents such as kerosene, diesel, gasoline, trichloroethylene, trichloroethylene, and white electric oil belong to the category of solvent based degreasers.
2. Water based degreaser refers to a degreaser that is soluble in water and can be diluted with water. Efficient water-based degreaser WP-751, neutral degreaser WHC-1, weakly alkaline degreaser WHC-2, alkaline degreaser WHC-5, acidic degreaser WP-20, etc. from Yuman Industrial belong to water-based degreasers.
2、 Classified by acidity and alkalinity
1. Acidic degreaser refers to a degreaser with a pH value below 7;
2. Neutral degreaser refers to a degreaser with a pH value of approximately 7;
3. Alkaline degreaser refers to a degreaser with a pH value greater than 7.
Usage:
1. Mechanical stirring for oil removal generally uses water-based oil removal agents;
2. Wiping to remove oil is mostly done with solvent based degreasers, such as traditional white electric oil, n-hexane, and Yuman Industrial white electric oil substitutes;
3. Immersion degreasing can be achieved using both solvent based degreasing agents and water-based degreasing agents;
4. Spray degreasing generally uses water-based degreasers;
5. Ultrasonic degreasing can use both solvent based degreasers and water-based degreasers;
6. Electrolytic degreasing using water-based degreasers;
7. Steam degreasing uses solvent based degreasing agents.
